Same for installing the header to your engine but then instead you weld the supplied flange to your existing exhaust system (have to measure and cut the old stuff away like the primary cats etc). Then gaskets and bolt that to your header flange.
The diy shows horties which retain the factory primary catalytic converters.
Some people drop their entire exhaust and drive to the exhaust shop with the headers only installed and get them to do the cutting & welding etc.
