I removed a panel today for a deep clean and I found this stray tube. I removed the cushioned housing, I thought there were 3 tubes running into the pump. However, now that I have things out a little more, I see there are only 2, so I have an extra hose and no idea where it goes... I’m guessing I probably unplugged this somewhere by accident? It looks like it goes to the air system. Does anyone have an idea or air tubing routing schematic?

I can't answer your question, but you are after the wrong problem. Typically with the age of our cars the seat bladders dry rot and crack and thus require replacement. This involves removing the seats, partially removing the leather covers and drilling and replacing pop rivets for the airbag and storage compartments as needed.

@anomadtoo, Stay tuned... I just had it to the shop yesterday to do a little rundown on it. One guy wanted to buy it on the spot. I spent the weekend detailing the car and it's car show ready... It's a 2006 black/black with 107K. I'm working up a write up and will post it in the marketplace along with a few places online. I'm 99.9% positive that BAT would accept it, because honestly I don't think there is a cleaner E55 wagon out there. It looks and shows really well. It does need a couple mechanical things, but nothing urgent or anything that affects me driving it. I'll miss it but after moving to a place where we get a little weather, I'm in need of AWD or 4WD. I've got a couple other vehicles in mind and it's time to move on...
