Any recommendations around best options for hazed headlamps?
Going to have them looked at by one last shop, but as of now it's seeming they might be beyond polishing back to good condition. I'm wanting to get the lights where they should be as the haze noticeably degrades the overall light sharpness and intensity in wet conditions. I've searched Ebay and the like and it's pretty hit or miss for finding pairs. If needed I'll just grab one here and one there as they come up in good shape, but thought I'd see if anyone knew a good OEM source or had any recommendations. I don't really need to drop $1k per headlight for ballasts, leveling motors, and bulbs when the onboard ones are functioning without issue, just being addled by the haze. Thanks to any and all for insight on this.

This place is a joke.
Buy the lenses only on ebay. Remove the bumper. Remove the old lights, put them in the sun to soften the glue. Swap the covers. Be careful cleaning the chrome inside, rubbing can remove it.

Just replace the lens, it's not that hard it's what I did. https://www.ebay.com/p/4006950699?ii...QaAvRIEALw_wcB

Put a film over them, after you replace the lens or sand it and polis it,
Put a UV protective film if they get hazy just take the film out a put a new one can out it clear or color one. Just don’t break the law.
i have yellow UV protective films

No one buys the entire headlamp assembly anymore, unless it sustained damage. We just replace the plastic lens covers.
The covers can be purchased on eBay. There are many videos on youtube how to do this.
Then have UV compliant PPF installed over your headlamps to protect them from road debris, and UV rays.
My headlights still look good after many years, and I even have the fog lights and carbon splitter covered in thick PPF.

He's free to grab them I managed to get by another shop and they were able to make the DRLs look brand new and get the headlights back to about 95% or better overall clarity. Still need to test them at night but should be good I think. If not I'll just go ahead and replace the lenses and do a PPF. Thanks to everyone for the input!

I've restored several headlights with wetsand and polish with great result staying the same til this day since you renew protection when you wax. Which should have been done in the first place.

Not if you protect them. Either with products like wax or sealers, or clear coat.
