I posted this in the CLK section but not much activity there. I know a lot of you guys have or may have had other models.
Trying to find some info and or pictures for a project I have.
Does anyone have or have seen a CLK W209 2003-2005 without a sunroof ?
Or does anyone know for a fact (guesses don’t help) that they were available without a sunroof?
Thanks!

According to EPC there is a W209 Headliner with NO sunroof. The part number is A2096900050. Also there is a body shell part number with no Sunroof opening (for the non-Black series CLK).

Do any of you guys know of any salvage yards in the US that deal with Mercedes vehicles?
I’m in South Carolina so something close would be nice but I’m open to any at the moment.
I have a new project and I’m looking for a CLK 2003-2005 roof without a sunroof.

Sorry, I don't know about your sunroof issue, but each country does things a little differently. I think for the E class, they basically all came with the sunroof as that's how MB USA decided to sell them, base model came with a sunroof, panorama sunroof was the option. In other countries, the local MB firm might have configured them differently. For instance in other countries, they came with engine options that weren't available in the US. My guess is that it's the same with your sunroof, you might not find one in the US, but maybe in another country like Canada. No idea what Canada did or didn't do though.

There is a new roof skin available for a W209 (my post #3) description shows no sunroof and I have confirmed that with the dealership that my son works at.
The cost new is between $825-$900 from various dealers. The reason I am looking for strictly Mercedes salvage yards in the US is to hopefully find a used non-sunroof clip and then drill out the spot welds and remove the skin. And also to get all the corresponding interior trim pieces.
Yes a lot of work but I’m in the collision industry and it is a fairly easy job once it’s all prepped.
We have a 03 CLK55 AMG that we are building into a drag car. Swapping in a 2005 E55 M113K. We are trying to lose as much weight as possible on the car prior to installing the roll cage and that’s the reason I’m looking for the non-sunroof clip.
If any of you guys know of or hear of any salvage yards that has Mercedes please let me know.
Thanks!
