What brand battery for keyless go key fob?

Since maxell pink and silver batteries were discontinued now coming from a different factory these days. What batteries are you guys using that survive?

I've tried new maxell orange and silver batteries and energizer batteries. neither seem to last more than 1 month before the replace battery notification comes on. From there, the batteries usually last between 1-4 months before they fully die which seems odd.

thoughts? comments?

I used the thicker CR 2032 batteries than the original 2025 bats. A little tight in reassembly, but seem to work better.

I use Varta (OE brand) for both keyfobs on my keyless go CLS55 and R500. Got them from FCP Euro. The seem to last longer than Energizers I have used previously. Hope this helps.

That is a little odd that the batteries die so fast. Are the buttons being pushed when the FOB is in your pocket?

The fob is always transmitting, at least with keyless go equipped cars.
