Sonnax valve kit 722.6

Anybody has installed Sonnax valve kit ? after changed my tranny when the car is cold shift rough to second gear. but after warm up is fine. The shop think need a new TCU to match the transmission. Is that make sense ?
My other mechanic suggest to install Sonnax valve kit to see if helps. Anyone has install ?
