E55 Brake Caliper retrofit

Hi guys I was wondering has anyone done a retrofit of our calipers onto sometime other than another Mercedes? I love these brakes and was wanting to see if they would fit something else. If I were to make brackets that fit another car could I just bolt them up and get brake lines? I was wanting to try and put these on my NSX cause someone was saying they put TL Type S brakes on one and I thought I would love to put my E55 brakes on my NSX. Thoughts??

Calipers are calipers, if you can make it fit it’ll work.

Don't know if you'd get the proper front to rear balance without the computer. Without electronics it goes by piston size and end to end vehicle weight. Is the NSX mid engine? That makes a difference. Rear and mid engine cars need slightly bigger rear brakes to keep the front brakes from locking first. I'm going to guess that our brakes are balanced to the weight distribution of our cars even without the computer, just judging by size difference.

That was going to be my comment as well. I think these brakes would be too powerful for his car, and lock up.

it all depends on what master cylinder you use with the calipers. You could make the E55 Brembos have almost zero braking effect with a mismatched master cylinder
