I think that these are US services, screwy canadian access laws will probably prevent you from subscibing without a US address. If you are familiar with the sat. TV fiasco, it is the same game, you need to find a US service that will subscribe for you. As to reception I don't know how far north you can go and get service, I was recently in the Toronto area and had no problems with Sirius reception

I think you need a US address, but Sirius shouldn't be a problem up there. The satellites for Sirius are flying above Minnesota. If they can reach Texas, most of Canada should be covered.

If you use a US address and a candian credit card, Sirius will look the other way.

If you use an OEM Sirius receiver, you don't need a credit card for at least a year.
