Brake question for everyone. I'm going to replace my front and rear brakes. From what I can see, the wear sensors are only on the passenger side (front/rear) does that sound correct? I didn't see any through the wheels on the drivers side.

Our cars, do not have wear sensors on each caliper only two total. I would also recommend lemforder lower control arms. But in most cases the ball joint and the bushing can replaced, so you don't need to replace the entire assembly.
Also I would take it to another shop, that the tech would take you to see what the issues are, not just say you need this or that. My shop allows me into their work bay, often times I assist them on the work. As I don't mind getting dirty, plus it's a education.
A little heads up, as your brake pads get thinner they heat up faster, as their is little to no brake pads material to dissipate the heat. So your braking distances will increase, as the rotor and pads deal with the increase heat.
Also I don't think that Brembo actually makes front brake pads for our cars, I know that they make them for the rears. https://www.brembostoreusa.com/produ...81&clev=0&hs=1
https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/20...joint_assembly they have pretty cheap prices, although I never purchased anything from them.

With regard to the Brembo brakes, that's what I thought. But then I found this.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/143635391613
I actually ordered them but now I'm wondering if it may the wrong part since I didn't see front brake pads on Brembo's site either. Hmmmm.

Which is a bonus, instead of cleaning the old hardware.

I'm a bit skeptical now since you mentioned it and Brembos site doesn't show front pads. Weird. I hope I didn't waste money. I also agree with new hardware, I'm not sure if that kit comes with it.
Do you want to PM me so we can chat out of the site? Send me your email address? I couldn't PM you for some reason.

I'm in the middle of doing a Rear Main Seal after having driven my 07' E63 for about 6k miles after rebuilding the Heads, Intake Manifold and front suspension and I can tell you my surprise of seeing a "check Oil" message on my display during a road trip, especially after having read this post thinking no such message could ever occur! Yes, I too have a dip stick and I can confirm that my E63 also has some form of Engine Oil measuring sensor because I got that message during a trip where I was already aware of Oil leaking from my Rear Main Seal whereby I would occasionally pull over to manually measure/refill Oil. Because of this post, I was extra careful as I too had the understanding that because I had a "dipstick", it "meant" that I must NOT have a low OIL "Check Oil" warning device. My dipstick is original as it has the red plastic tip with appropriate marks delineating low and full. When I was warned of low Oil via the "Check Oil" message, I didn't think I had gone much further than I had previously without manually checking to refill due to the leak. When I checked the dipstick, sure enough, I couldn't see any Oil mark on the tip! Previously, I would catch it just as it was on the low end and refill so I never was warned! Good to know!!!!

This isn’t a big deal, just add 1 qt at your next fueling stop and check the level. I always carry a quart of Mobil 1 0W-40 In the trunk of my E63 and X5M. When I recently had my upper oil pan gasket replaced, I seen exactly where the oil sensor is mounted.
Remember these cars can and will burn oil in some form or another, depends how hard you push it. The low oil indication will only appear if your a quart low or lower.

Great photo man! I haven't seen that one, but I probably will some day soon! I already have the Engine Oil Pump chain and slider kit ready to go in whenever I decide to get the engine out to also replace the Crank Chain and sliderails, Water Pump, Alternator, and T-Stat. Did the P/S Pump and reservoir during my first build of the car back in early 2018, right after I bought it.
As for the location of the Oil Level Sensor, where is it in that picture? I can't locate it??
BTW, I sure hope you decided to replace the front swaybar Bushings when you had the subframe out?? I have those too, but nary have had the inclination to try installing as I don't have an engine hoist!!!

Here is a good look at the suspension and sway bar bushings. This would have been the perfect time to replace it.
If you look at the 11 o’clock position inside the oil pan, there is a hole where the oil sensor probe sticks thru to measure the oil in the lower oil pan.
Kleeman headers.
A look at the underdrive crank pulley
The one good thing is that the new oil temp sensor fixed my issue with alternating temperatures.
