19’ two piece amg rims hardware question

I wanted to get my rims refinished but I’m worried about the bolts being sealed. Or even if they may snap if I try loosing them. Anyone have any experience with taking these rims apart or even where to find extra bolts incase mine snap off during refinishing?

Have you reached out to Mercedes Parts, about the wheel bolts?

I was reading through a couple of threads and saw that they don’t offer these bolts anymore. Wish they did

Then I would try to locate a manufacturer that makes three piece wheels, hopefully the bolts they use will be the same as the ones you need.

This should help you. It is a Titanium bolt, a M7x1.0 pitch thread with a triple box socket head. Search that info and you should be able to find them. I don't know what torque to set them to, but be careful, the titanium is brittle and I've heard of others snapping them. See link below, you should be able to find them here in America if you look around. the specs are half the battle. Good luck.

Its a "triple square" socket, not box. Individually, they aren't cheap. BBS ones may be better quality. I've seen them on alibaba in bulk for much less, however it may be cheaper lower quality.

Just realized I was looking at M7x24mm titanium BBS bolts. Would these work? Can’t find M7x1.0 bolts that RaceHorse state’s above.

Yes, 24mm is the length. The 1.0 is the pitch of the thread. They should be the same specs as what comes on the wheel.

The bolts have a "loctite" substance on the threads, but if 1 is removed, it will not leak air, since the threads don't go all the way thru.
