I'm in an insanely hot part of the country. It was almost 110 today.

Tonight, when I stepped on the gas, the car made a weird noise, emitted a strange odor, and noticeably lost power.

I looked it over when I got home and didn't see any leaks or hear any odd noises.

Does this sound like the computer momentarily turned the supercharger off?
