I'll tell you why i dont like silver. I bought my GS4 back in 1998 in silver. At the time, it was HOT. Now, everyone and their mother, has a silver car. I bought to be different before. Now that im no longer different, I am moving to the Flint Gray.
Black is a classic color... so you cant get sick of that...but the silver kick is just ridiculous. Outside of black, im sure the majority of E55's have been in silver...so i guess anything else makes mine a little bit rarer. I just dont like being part of the masses..what can i say?

most of us here personalize our cars...to our taste or what not. I once liked silver, and now i dont. Last i checked, we can blow 90 grand on a car, and get it inthe color we like lol. I know of people that go looking for vettes in x color bc they know it was less production as well. Doesnt mean they are insecure....but it makes their car rarer to begin with, before they pour in their own personalization. Some people care, some people dont.
Like i said..i love black, its a classic color...and if there wasnt already another black car in the household, i would get that. Is the fact that maybe 1/3 of e55's produced either flat or metallic black gonna stop me from doing it? no. Just something with teh silver that i got sick of. Cant explain it.
