I've seen chassi braces before for the E/cls55 but heard very little about people actually using them. Does anyone here have them? Is it worth to put them on to stiff up the car or us it a waste if money?

The one that goes from the trans mount to the front subframe makes a really big difference. The rest not so much.

How does it work with the OEM skid pad? Any issues?
Seems to be kind of sweet if it stiff up the car s bit for the money.

 

Provided they havent changed it to look like the picture on their website the old design was perfect. If you painted it black it would just about look factory. The underbody cover has two bulges in it exactly where the bars come through makes it look oem.

May add this at some point for the price seems ok to give any type of diff in feel.

 

I made my own strut tower brace and lower brace out of chrome molly. I purchaced the lower front k-member brace and it was truly a joke at how thin and flimsy it was. Total waist of money but I was able to copy that as well.
