Alarm acting up

The alarm on my cls have started doing things on it's own.
Several times the alarm goes off, indicators starts to blink without sound even tough nothing is touching the car.

A few days ago the alarm went off with sound while driving. The alarm sound was not continues but cut off after a few sec and then the sound restarted until I restarted the car. In other words, few seconds alarm, silence, few sec alarm and so forth.

The keyless go handel drive side have also stop working intermittently which I think is related.

Anyone recognise these issues? I have no codes, I've checked both batteries. Seems fine.

Don't know where to start diagnostics. Any help is appreciated.

In my SL I had the alarm going off on its own randomly and had to replace the alarm. Located behind the front driver side wheel lining. Apparently it’s a common problem where the battery will start leaking and cause issues

Interesting, might be the same issue I'm having. Just went out to the car. It was making some sweet alarm music on it's own without lights.

Usually the internal battery in the alarm goes bad with age. This can/will cause multiple false alarms. Pull the fender liner on the passenger side and you can see the alarm for pull and/or replace.

Thanks man. That sound like a possible solution.

Could part number A 00 482 019 26 be correct? Looking at online EPC trough nemigaparts but the site looks wired without pictures. No access to my computer in awhile so I can't access real EPC.

See this post from user Konigstiger. Appears there are four compatible part numbers. The number you have above is two "generations" behind the latest listed part number. The latest number is A219-820-32-36 but the three older ones will work if you find one.

That's perfect. I will get one from the dealer and give it a shoot. Thanks.

Edit: my key was low on battery. That was the cause.
