Are 722.6 gearboxes interchangeable?

Are 722.6 gearboxes interchangeable?
Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone knows if you need to replace a 722.6 transmission with the exact same numbers after the 6 ie. 722.6xx or are they interchangeable?

You can put TT gearbox # (722.649) from:-

04-06 "C215 CL600/CL65" or "W220 S600/S65" or 07-13 "W221 S600/S65" or even 04-11 "R230 SL600/SL65/SL65 BS",

it's really great, with (900Nm)..

Didn’t all of the SOHC engines change bolt pattern in 05 or something?

Wondering if a 722632 will fit on a car with a 722.618?

It's from an S430 going into an E320 so it's going from a more power car to a less powerful...

So technically it should handle it, the question is, will it run and operate ok electronically?

Are those trans straight "PLUG & PLAY" to the M113k cars?

So what is the difference from the 722.643 vs the V12 trans? Hows the shifting difference and so forth?

Shifting & kickdown is little bit faster, but firmer than stock, especially with 2>>3.
