odd ticking noise after installing the bosch 010 pump
Hey guys,
installed bosch 010 IC pump on an otherwise completely stock E55 last week. Drove her pretty hard all day today, then noticed a ticking sound inside the cabin when at a stop ( nothing while driving ), does not matter whether in Park or in gear...turned the engine off and back on...noise not there initially but then comes on after a minute or so. cannot hear the noise outside the car, cannot hear it when popped the hood or under the car. everything feels / drives normal. This is kinda strange. I can't help but think it has something to do with the new pump Any ideas?

Well if you really want to test it unplug the pump i don't think the car knows if its there or nit. Anyway I think its a coincidence try unplugging your battery for like 10 min might fix it if electrical glitch.
