Engine noise, Brake noise
Do any of u get this buzzing noise and vibration from the brake pedal on your E55?? and the ticking/tapping noise from the engine(bad motor mounts) like the members from the E500 forum describe? I have both problems on my 03 E55 since the day I bought the car. After doing some research on the new E-Class forum, I printed out the service bulletin numbers for my dealer.
"1) The service bulletin number for the "Engine Ticking Noise" is "P-B-07.00-21D-DTB"
2) Buzzing noise from Sensotronic brakes
There's a new bulletin that just came out for those of you that hear a buzzing noise from your brake system. A pulsation damper is to be retrofitted into the suction line near the main SBC hydraulic unit. Order No: P-B-42.46/27a"
After they looked at it, I was told the noise from the engine is "normal". AMG engines are not "as smooth" They said they checked the bulletin and the motor mounts problem only applies to SL, E, CLK 500 and same for brake noise. I'm confused now, guys help me out here!

The "ticking" noise that everyone hears on their E55 I was told is due to the compressor blades in the supercharger not the engine itself. It is perfectly normal. This is what was explained to me by my mechanic. (He has an E55 also).

Yes, the noise is quite loud at idle, but you can't hear it when the windows are down or during acceleration... I thought I have bad motor mounts... it seems like I worry too much!! :P
What about the brake noise? any of you have that?

brake noise
squeek , high pitched at low pressure, dissappears with more pressure on the brake pedal. comes and goes, not time or weather related. almost pisses me off, but not quite. I've stopped stopping-much less noise.
