I have a pair of 615 active curve/ bi xenon headlights I would like to put in my 614 standard bi xenon equipped e55. Is this as simple as swapping the headlight and enabling the active curve / intelligent lighting options in DAS? Do the 615 headlights utilize any external modules, sensors, or harnesses that would also need to be swapped into the 614 optioned car? Or require any repinning of the connectors?
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

If you don't get someone answering your questions, you may have to dig into EPC and see what components are listed as being part of the 615 option. If I remember correctly, activating in DAS is possible. Originally Posted by corvettekyle

I have the active curve/ cornering Bi-xenon headlights in my ML, and if the W211 is similar to the W164, then you would need one or two modules that control these functions. Also I believe programming the front or rear SAM is necessary.
To know definitely, I also suggest you compare between a car having 615 and one that has 614 using EPC and you will find the answer.
Good luck.
