Represented W211 AMG at the Cars and Coffee 2020
I got invited to the Color the Road event by the local Benz dealer last week. Despite being organized by the Merc dealer, there were a handful of MBs, but TONs of beautiful cars including new and classic BMW, Mini, and Porsche.
I was glad to be there and represent our older AMGs, 😂 A couple of owners of newer Benzes complimented on W211 and admitted there was something truly special about them. One owner of a regular BMW X1 got his mind blown when he saw the 6.3 badges on the side of the car and wanted to see the size of the engine to believe it 😂

C&C is dead here until spring I think, but looking forward to it coming back. Definitely something nice to be able to do even with all the craziness going on at the moment. I'll have to try and get some video of it since it tends to draw a pretty huge crowd.

Yeah, that wasn't nice of him. But his Alpina B7 is a rare car over here so it was nice to see it. Overall, there were no burnouts or racing — the crowd behaved good, except for the Mustang who raced himself all the way to the destination point — nobody was engaging.

1999 C43 AMG, 2005 E55 Wagon
C&C here is still pretty successful. Over 1,000 cars at the "big one" (first saturday of every month). On the other Saturdays it's much smaller but that was always true. Thankfully ours always has a police presence and they crack down pretty hard on idiots.
And it's weird to me how few MB or AMG you ever see. Like at a big Nashville CnC of 1,000+ cars, there might be 3 AMG's.

This event was accompanied by police too. I wonder what car stood out to folks? I was particularly excited to see that old Porsche, old BMW 2002, BMW 850, and the new 8 series. I personally think the new 8 series that's supposed to compete with GTS 63 loses on the "cool factor". It is elegant but lacks aggressiveness. But it beats GTS 63. Unfortunately based on all the reviews newest BMW M5 beats E63S too 
Time for MB to start using that lighting fast ZF transmission like pretty much anybody else do.
