Yep, that's what I said - added to the stock TCU, thus no indication in any way that that feature originally came that way on the stock TCU. No one is arguing with you or disagreeing with you.

Yeah, enhances the traction control "off-ish" mode, it fixes the standing burn out issue with some of the later models (where dyno mode is required to do a burn out).

I guess that answers it. You can feel an obvious difference even just slowly going from 1st to 2nd. There are a lot of changes. Definitely worth getting the real deal if that's what you are trying to avoid. It is a very good value for money mod.

This thread reads as if turning on agility mode brings these increases, and I had a some questions about that, and I figured others might also. Seems like it needs other improvements/tuning to see the full potential.

Adjustments are made to all modes shifts. Agility mode is just like S mode but with more aggressive profiling. Kinda like you might expect from a sport+ mode...qqQ

I know were just talking..I had 6 different tcu on this car as i figured out really you can't really fully remove limters unless you go standelone or maybe a piggy

This is one of the great mods to come along for the e55. Finally I can spin the tires all the way into 3rd gear. The shifts are now crisp and very sure footed, especially in A or M mode. Its basically like a different transmission now.
Comfort mode is still comfortable but bumps into 3rd a little harsh if grandma is riding shotgun. Every once in a while C mode will "drag" the lockup clutchs some when slowing to a stop. I'm guessing that adaptation will take care of that eventually.
When I first installed this tcu I did the sneaky reset but it shifted extremely harsh. I ended up disconnecting the front and rear batteries for 30 minutes to do the reset and that did the trick.
Thanks Zerocat for giving us a great TCU at a great price. Much appreciated!

Has anyone done any logging to see if the Tb is slowly closing before the shifts? If it’s not then there will be no boost loss and shifts will be better.

stuff like this intrigues me![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
i spoke to Troy seems he has fixed something that has been a problem for a long time that some of us have to spoken to numerous tuners about. Some even said we are crazy but logs don’t lie.

Troy rocks this TCU tune, I only drove my CLS55 a couple miles to pick up kids from school at low speeds and the shifting speed in Agility mode is so much quicker and firmer. Before it was like my old 85 Oldsmobile Delta 88 but know this Trans shifts like a proper high performance German car should. I have V1 not V2 for reference. I will report back with more feedback once I get to put the car through its paces. I just did a new fuel pump and filter module out of warranty!
Many thanks Troy! I still miss a manual transmission but this is such an improvement over stock!

I really notice my shifts get worse when i added the stall. street was sort of ok but i never could floor it but as soon as i put a drag radial on it was horrible. Then headers , gears, worse yet. All is good now with this tcu!

Anything for the 722.9 , 7g+ ( facelift 204 ) slush box that addresses slow changes , relaxing torque limiters , responds everytime to flappy paddles etc ?
