Agility Mode TCU tune - Shift delays left in shatters!

You obviously don't know how much I cry at night knowing how much my Mercedes is ruined by a transmission that feels designed around the same time as Stonehenge , lol .
I dream of things like xHP
But have this...
The bloody thing changes gear at 4700 rpm when peak power is ment to be 4250 ( now 3500 ) and torque nose dives after 2000 .
And often ignores my earlier flappy paddle upchange request .
Can you see why I cry ?

Does the traction control still work if it's not turned off?

Squealing when shifting
Hello, does anyone else notice a sound that mimics a belt squeal when shifting hard in Agility mode? I have not tried it in S or full on manual mode but is most prevelant during 1-2 & 2-3 shifts only when abrupt throttle is applied initially but still occurs when backing off the throttle before a shift though. At first I thought it was my supercharger belt but it only happens during a shift. I checked my Trans fluid and it was full and still red did not smell or look burnt. I did a full Trans service around 30k ago with conductor plate and bushing connector.
I hope this is not hurting my Trans, I love the tune and the way the Trans shifts over stock!!
Thanks!

There is a lot of weight that has to excellerate with our clutched type supercharger so that quick upshift in engine speed could cause an issue with belt chirp.
No more throttle dip to slow things down.

Agility (A) mode
- Much much much faster shifts, definitely a lot more forceful. I didn't reset the adaptations so the obvious bump on gear change might improve over time. It isn't uncomfortable at all, just my head was slammed into the head rest (in a good way) at redline shifts a few times. Lots of grinning..
there is no adaption in agility mode

Here is my Purchase link:

IMHO the weak link in the W211 E55 is the TCU.
Mind you the Transmission appears to be built well, with members pushing out north of 600lbs torque.
In addition to the ECU, header and pulley mods I also run a DTE-Systems Pedalbox.
I have been through a bunch of TCU tunes: DTK, RaceIQ, Eurocharged and now this MKUltra TCU tune.
Every tune had their ups and downsides.
But this one(MkUltra) is truly the one for me.
As you can read in the posts above in A mode this thing is an absolute monster.
But in A mode I guess u have to be in 'Track' state of mind to enjoy it. A little much for my taste for daily driving.
But on track days I guess this A mode is must.
In M mode the shifts are definitely quicker & Firmer. But dont expect a near DCT type experience.
In C mode, now this is a slight improvement over the Stock C mode. With slightly quicker shifts and less lag.
Its the Mode I use when I have the Mrs. riding with me.
For me the best mode happens to be S. The snap, crispy and firmess of the shifts seem just about right.
Even the slight SC engagement harshness seems to have melted away.
I am not sure if its the 'learning', but initial 50 miles after install things did not go as well.
For the first 50 miles I ran a mix of Highway WOT , some slow traffic and I was not pleased with the shifts.
It seemed a little harsh and the kick down seemed not 'Well timed'.
But I did read about the adaptation and decided to give it more time.
But after those 50 miles things have progressively improved.
I now have almost a 100 miles on this TCU and things are so much better that it has put off my upgrade itch.
Brings a smile on my face when I mash the pedal.
Like they say 'Better late than never', applies to this TCU tune.

My good friend and I purchased two TCU's a week or so ago. This upgrade transformed the transmission and the car, drives fantastic. The "C" mode seems to shift slightly firmer from 2-3 but is fine and is an improvement, I use this setting most of the time. "S" is firmer from what it was, down shifts quicker and with less pedal pressure. Never really used the "M" mode so not much to compare or comment. The "A" mode is for haul ***.
My car is stock except for a larger heat exchanger. I don't seem to have the "chirping" issue, car performs fine. This is one of the best upgrades for the E55...

Update for me. I have actually gone back to the stock TCU. I found the shifts nice and firm when driving fast. When cruising I often found them a bit harsher than I would like in comfort and sport. However the main issue I had is that it made traction much more challenging. I don't know whether this was to do with torque converter lock up or something else but spinning one wheel off the line or on gentle turns was way more of an issue. With the same mild to moderate acceleration in the same conditions (often wet and cold 8-15 degrees C) the stock TCU made the car much more tractable. This might be just me...

in my Quaife equipped E55 I don’t have the issues you are feeling.
this trans tune is one of the best things I’ve done to my E55

i did a test last year on the tcu ran 122mph on the stock pulley at a track for years that i ran 121.5 mph. ran 11.25 et vs 11.47 on the other tcu. and to run 11.47 on the other tcu it would happen then the next pass would go to 11.8 or 11.5 it would be all over due to hanging slow shifts. way more consistant now.
