P0505 82mm throttle body
I have an E55 amg, I have done vacuum leak test/smoke test and have no issues.
guessing p0505 is from my 82mm throttle body, car is really lumpy at idle. Is there any fixes to this issue? All the post I’ve seen are really old so not sure if there is a new fix out there.

You need STAR, then go through default initialization to reset everything. Do a TB reset (with key off and on, cable unplugged etc). Finally set learning of idle in Park and in gear about 50 rpm higher, there is a Youtube video of the procedure if you search. Best of luck!

P0505 is a vacuum leak, you might want to do a smoke test to see if you have a leak. AFAIK the number of folks with an 82mm throttlebody with issues FAR outnumbers folks with an 82mm throttlebody w/o issues. The P0505 is an easier fix but the P0106 that can likely trigger has not been 100% solved to this day.

Yo thank you so much, this fixed my issue with the idle and especially the hiccup when shifting. It also fixed the issue where when you let off the gas from WOT throttle it would slug you forward. Thanks, man!

Awesome, glad to hear! Just keep a close eye on it as sometimes it could still be a tune issue or slight vacuum leak that the ECU eventually freaks out about but can act normal for a few days after a reset. I had a similar issue with a poor seal around my 82mm TB, the Y pipe was shifting while driving and letting extra air in, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
