I second this. It is amazing what his TCU does to transform the shifting.
I saw on a video where the guy said stock AMG transmissions will not let you use the manual shift buttons in sport or comfort mode. However mine does. Does that mean my TCU is modified??

Older versions, but your car is newer in the overall production time line and should have that issue.

I think it was only the 2003 models (maybe 2004 too) that did not allow manual mode while in Comfort or Sport mode.

its very easy to check the TCU itself, check the video I created for swapping it out
Oh I see. So did he have an issue with your customer service? Cause I can see that, considering it's have emailed you guys several times with questions on products and how to proceed and have gotten zero responses. I contacted you cause Alex from legit street cars is forever hyping your products in his videos. It's unfortunate you give a very detailed response to this post yet choose to ignore my email inquiries.🤷🏻♂️
I wound up with UPD products
We lost our Secretary in a motorcycle accident a few months ago, And then moved across the country. Our phones have not been turned back on and our email contact is approximately 48hrs. Yes our customer service / response time has been lacking but we are now in our new location and focusing on rectifying that issue.

Sorry to hear. Hope everything is back to order for you guys for a business stand point. In this economy no one can afford to lose a sale.
A little back on topic about the pulleys. I'm trying to get my stock supercharger pulley off and I have the band clamps around the clutch and they keep slipping as I try to remove the bolt. No matter how tight I get them they keep slipping. Is there another trick ton this process??

Need to use an impact drive to remove the bolt. The hammering effort will break it loose while turning the pulley minimally.
It's a CLS no room. Even if I remove the fan shroud I don't think it will fit.
You may be able to remove the fan shroud and with the upper radiator cross piece removed you may be able to rock the top of the radiator away from the engine just enough to get the impact in to loosed the nut. If that doesn't work then possibly use an impact universal joint.

I only moved the fan shroud a little bit up, so that it had enough clearance to stick my 1/2" extension through the fan shroud and unto the supercharger pulley bolt
Here's the message we sent Daryl on June 3rd.... Does anyone see an issue with this?
We would never allow a customer to "USE" a part for 8 months while they wait to return it... Us allowing you to "send it in in winter" Is to check the tolerances and adjust if necessary as in the above screenshot.
Its winter now... you can still send it in to be checked.
We will still service it.. But not return and refund it... This isn't our first rodeo.
My Sl55 has 33k miles, will I have any issues with your pulley or tune? I want the pump and bigger HE also.
