Howdy guys. Any of y'all have reupholstered the Alcantara sun visors? I was cleaning the car today and I noticed that my sun visors are trashed. My driver side has been glued, and the glue ran on the outside of the seam and its hard to fold down and won't stay put against the headliner when put away. My passenger side is split at the seam, but other wise well taken care off, folds down easily and stays put against the roof.

Any leads on where to source the Alcantara that's the same color? or just straight up new visors at this point.

Take out the two bolts for the sunvisor and remove them. Run a razor blade across the edge and completely separate them. Then use some gorilla glue to piece them back together. Next, use some wd40 and spray down the shaft. Move it in and out and wiggle it. Repeat a few times. That should get them back to 90%.

Ebay would be my best guess on where to get some used ones in a little better shape if they are past repair.
