Very Nice! I hope to be joining you soon. My CLK should be home with a roll cage in a few weeks, then it's time to see how deep into the 10's I can get the stock internals. I probably won't be in the 9-second club until next year though.

Out Of Control!!
You can do it in the CLK! I ran 10.0 on completely stock internal m113k CLK55 on 93 octane. I think you can get into the 9s.

Congratulations! What an amazing job you've done with this car and platform. Sad to say your car has not received the recognition it deserves. I've had the privilege of seeing this car run at a few different events. It sounds amazing, and looks like a car you can take out to dinner (after swapping the drag pack). Its immaculate with a modern looking interior, but when it lines up to the tree it is all business. 140+ traps is no joke in a heavier retractable top convertible.
No disrespect to the other record holders with different models, but to lighten up lighter platforms or fully gut a car, add a turbo 400 to run the number is just not the same, impressive, but not the same. Many others in the past would run a record and you'd never see inside since the limo tint would hide the milk crate seat and stripped interior. So many of the records were "one hit wonders" or maybe a few decent passes and then the cars would be gone, with little explanation. Maybe they blew up from pushing it too hard without the supporting mods, who knows? I guess that's their choice to keep it a secret.
This car has a bunch of passes at this point with no sign of slowing down. Out of curiosity, how many 9 second passes do you have at this point? What ever you are doing, keep doing, since it seems to be working. You've found a way to work around so many obstacles considering factory ECU/TCU motor tranny and rear, upgraded as I recall, but still factory components.
I'm sure you have many people scratching their head in disbelief, you definitely think outside the box.
You definitely have an awesome car. Good luck with continued success.

I haven’t put in on the scales , I changed out the seats , brakes to fit the drag pak , batteries , but I also added 5 gallon trunk tank and 4 pumps and 2 killer chillers in the trunk which adds up , stock ABC suspension is retained and the convertible top and AC are fully functional,

Wow that is a lot added. And hard to loose weight when some of it is still needed to drive it. Those cars had to be over 4200 I’m sure stock. I wish we were closer to each other I would love to see it run in person.
