2004 E%% AMG Another wheel offset and diff oil questions

Hello boys and girls
I have a 2004 E55 AMG with 67k miles
I read about these topics and I am still clueless
I want to run 255F/285(295)R on a 19 wheel on stock suspension low setting
The wheels I want are Rohana RFX 11 and the front offset is 35mm and rear offset is 30mm and 45mm
Wheel width 8.5F/9.5R

Diff oil ... some say 75w85 , some 75w90 and some 75w140

Thank you

your wheel offsets should be ok, assuming we know the widths of them. Tire sizes youre ok. as far as diff oil, 75w90 is very common, and will be fine.

Of the two rear offsets you mentioned the 30 is the better of the two.

In the differential the dealer part# is 001989-33 03 12 which is 75-85W but I think many here use different weight oils. I am going with a 75-90W synthetic.

are you me? I have a 66k mile 2004 and have just gone thru all these questions.

I think your front is fine and the rear you should go with the 30 offset. I have 19x9.5 + 35 with 275/30 tire and just put a 10mm spacer on and there are a couple mm to spare. theoretically a 19x9.5 + 30 with a 285/30 should be the same fit

for diff fluid I went with the 75w/85. agreed that finding a definitive answer on that question is impossible. there's some ***** on here that claims 75-140 and will call you stupid if you disagree. fcpeuro offers 75-90 & 85-90 for our cars. from what i could gather, in the past our cars were to follow 235.0 fluid spec but has recently been upgraded to 235.7 so basically 75-90, 85-90 & 75-85 will work but 75-85 is the most recent update so I figured that was the best. while we're on the topic, does anyone know the size of that drain plug? I tried to change mine the other day but the old man's tool supply was limited.

I was an 85w90 user before having an LSD installed.

Kiluminati, a 14mm hex will get you sorted.
