Navigation Update
I realize that our vehicles navigation systems are old and outdated. But, I'm curious to know are there any navigation updates available for your vehicles on CD, beside my 2014 CD that I currently have.
I called my local Mercedes Dealer, and they said that the latest CD is the 2015/2016. I don't except that. Do you know of any other updates that are available for a 07-09 E63?
Before you mention it, I know that there are better navigation aids out there.

I realized that the dealership was most likely telling me the truth, he said that aren't any CD listed past 2015/2016. Since, I couldn't find any updates on my own online, I resorted to eBay and purchased the latest update.

I assumed that the one in the car was 2014. Now, I have an extra one, which isn't a big deal, as it was pretty cheap.

The CDs are exactly the same, same stock and part numbers. So one could assume the data is the same as well. But I will check the data, as the new CD doesn’t work, but the old one does. Go figure. The seller told me that I need to purchase the firmware and install that first before it will read the CD. I don’t know if updating the firmware will make that much of a difference if the data is the same.

You've probably searched the following site, but for those who want to see what's available for your ntg1, ntg2.5, ntg4, etc systems, see below...

There's a 2018 NavTech for North America and Europe for the CLS. Can't comment on the E. It's the last version for our system, and it's a DVD --- not a CD.

10 years seems to be the magic number where DB support starts to go away. Quite frankly my Garmin with US and European maps and lifetime free updates (US maps) is superior. Sometimes I stick it on the Command screen. I do find that the Euro maps change little, so I still use the Command Nav simply because it's there. The Command Nav in my ML400 bi-turbo/4 cam/V8 diesel (made in Alabama, but never sold in the US) is absolute junk and I never use it, but the SUV is great.

A few minutes ago, I put the CD in my computer to read how much data was actually on the CD, and the computer displayed a formatting cue, as if there was never anything on the CD to begin with.
So, I going back to the seller requesting another NAV CD and the firmware CD as well.

So the seller has requested my year, make and model. I wonder if he will send me another CD with the firmware, or just argue that his CD was good.

And you wonder why you're having issues with it?

Thanks....But I'm already aware of that fact. I just want what I paid for. Although, I don't really need it.
As the Nav CD that is currently in the cars works perfectly. I have to admit, I didn't check the date on the CD before placing my order.
The seller has mailed out a new one.

So, I had a chance to check the data on the CD, and it has 3.61 GB of data on it.
