Looking for value opinions......2007 E63, 85k miles.....great condition. I bought it last September and enjoy bringing these cars back to a standard.....
What has been done,
- Brakes, Rotors, Pads, all hardware, brake fluid flush
- All filters, oil dropped twice....2nd time 5w40 M Formula with Ceratec
- Engine - Plugs, Injectors, Oil Seperator, All oil leaks fixed....VC gaskets, oil cooler lines, timing covers, etc....Intake manifold gaskets/bolts, Intake air temp sensor, Coolant dropped/refill, Belt/Tensioner. New under hood insulation
- Chassis - All lower control arms, inner/outer tie rods, Sway bar end links, steering knuckle ball joints. MB Alignment for airmatic
- Wheels - All 4 refinished, straighted, CNC cut to remove curb-rash. 4 New Michelin Pilot 4S tires
Everything works, drives like a dream.......interior is exceptional
the hard truth is... AMG's that are over 10 years will have a very low value. a 2007 E63 will range from 12-42k. the higher end for a wagon, and the lower end for a still running but lacking additional preventive maintenance. if your car is on the lower end of the sale price, honestly its better to keep the car than sell. over the years i've done quite a bit of maintenance, but for a vehicle of 160k, these items are pretty standard regardless of make or model.
