Xpel saved my a$$
Went to seattle over the labor day weekend. Got into a slight fender bender.
Xpel got all scratched up. Peeled it off and apparently the car is fine. No damage to the paint.
However, I am pissed off at stupid teenage driver. They should have their license revoked for being irresponsible.
I need to re-xpel the damn side.

yes, it's the invisible bra. It actually can take some minor hit without damaging the surface. As soon as my right front was scratched, i was like, sh*t. But as luck would have it, it just scratched my Xpel.

It is definately good for protection, but I still have a hard time getting used to its looks and the way it yellows over time. Glad to see you were able to escape with just a damaged side piece of plastic rather then a new paint job.

just curious is Xpel the same stuff as 3M? I'm looking into getting one too for my ride. This would be very very useful going to vegas cruising at high speeds.
