Looking for an upgrade to your E55
Do you want to upgrade your E55 steering wheel to a E63 style. If so, I have the steering wheel with airbag for sale.
Yes, the shift paddles are covered in alcantara, I had to reuse the aluminum ones, during my new steering wheel install. But everything is in great shape.

The steering wheel is still available for a lucky E55 owner, for their upgrade.

I’m not aware if the paddle shifters can be adapted to fit an E55 steering wheel. But I’m selling the complete E63 wheel airbag and all, and I know for a fact they it works on a E55. PM me if interested.

I thought that I had a little nimble on the line, but nothing hooked just yet. Maybe just maybe I could get a fish to bite with these pics.

YES, these and all Mercedes paddle shifters will work in ALL W211 E55s
2005 and later E55s are essentially compatible with all paddle shifters (you just need to change the connector on the paddle)
2003 and 2004 E55s are made compatible with all paddle shifters by adding the "Mercedes Paddle Converter" module. This "plug and play" module is available from forum sponsor DCT motorsports, or you can get it directly from me (you can get it from comandonlineUK if you are in europe). The "Mercedes Paddle Converter" module makes paddles plug-n-play on all 2003-2004 E55s, 2003-2006 SL55/65, S55/65, CL55/65, CLK55 and SLR MacLarens
