Can someone tell me the p/n for the Gates HD belt for the accessory drive system

I got two belts (one with the ASP kit, one with the UPD belt wrap kit) and both are too short for the s/c, so I believe I need the Gates K080550HD for the blower belt, but I dont know which one I need for the accessory belt. Does anyone have the p/n handy for the gates HD belt for that drive system? Thank you!

Just ordered a new belt from dealership for mine. Size is a 6pk2449, this is the accessory belt, not the SC belt

anyone know the model number for the GATES HD belt? Looks like the non-HD version is K060966. Usually the HD version is the same number + HD on the end, but that doesnt seem to be the case here. Anyone have any info? I figured I would run the HD accessory belt since I have the HD blower belt, but I cant seem to find the HD accessory belt. Any help is appreciated

K060966 is the right part number however it doesn’t have an HD version. I was looking to the HD version for both the belts and the local Gates distributor mentioned that only the supercharger belt was available in HD.

Get any belt - Gates, OEM, Conti, it’s all going to do it’s job.

Since it doesnt seem anyone has the willingness to help on here, or doesnt have the correct information, let me provide it for future viewers of this thread.

The correct Gates HD version of the accessory belt for the E55 is a K060970HD.

There is a size difference in the part number you mentioned.

K60966

Effective Length (in): 96.61"
Effective Length (mm): 2454

K060970HD

Effective Length (in): 97.01"
Effective Length (mm): 2464 mm

A difference of 10mm (larger) is not ideal. Please don’t make a statement that this is the correct alternate part. If it was, like the supercharger HD belt it would have been a very popular upgrade here. Another thing to note, many members here super knowledgeable and technical more than any other forum I’ve ever seen so I’m sure if it was the correct part number it would have been widely discussed.

You would’ve got your answer if there was one.

970HD actually is ideal.. the 966 is so short that the tensioner is just at the beginning of its tension throw... the 970HD allows the tensioner to extend so it is in the middle of its functional range and is a HD belt. Discussing the HD belt on the blower is a useless argument because there are a various amounts of belts that need to be used depending on the crank and blower pulley used on the particular setup, but I'm not going to argue with you. Both belts work, I simply want to run an HD belt based on my setup and this is the correct HD belt size (my original question)... If you want to run a non-HD accessory belt on your setup and feel that it is "more ideal" than do so. There are various belts that work from major manufacturers (Continental, Dayco, Gates, Ac Delco, etc) and they are all different lengths by millimeters. Thanks.
