Experience porting and polishing M113K heads

Has anyone done this themselves? From the threads that I have gone down, everyone seems to send them out. Is there a particular reason? Like difficult or just no time? The actual process seems pretty easy, just a dermal and some time, but I don't want to mess it up if it may be misleading.

There is more to porting heads than just hogging them out or making them shiny. If you do not have the proper equipment to measure flow and port velocity it is possible to make them worse than stock. Make sure you do as much research as you can before picking up the grinder.

Correct. Grinding the metal: easy. Knowing where to grind and how much: much harder.

I think SICAMG would be the guy to talk to. I think he did his himself and has done some flow testing.
