Air Suspension Fault

Driving along today car was doing great. Got a message of the car with an up arrow underneath it. Got home and height looks similar everywhere. Restarted car and code was gone. Scanned it and got code 5101 B24/3 L front body acceleration sensor in the fault history. Only other thing I’ve noticed is a low washer fluid message for a few days (I haven’t had time to refill it).

Battery is older and when I check it on the OBD scanner I see 12.1 volts after a drive.

What to do?
1) Replace battery
2) Keep driving and see what happens?
3) Take car to shop. Yes
4.) I’m open to other suggestions too.

Both front air struts and the compressor have been replaced in the last 4 years. Rears are original.

Thanks for your help!

clear the code. If it comes back, replace the sensor. Happy

I'm experiencing the same thing. It's very infrequent, but it happens.

Exactly which sensor should be replaced?

Is there just one? Not one for each corner?

Yes, one at the similar location on the other front shock tower. There is one at the rear too.

This thread is less than 10 posts long. The solution is posted in post #5 above.

Should be these ones, they sit in front of the air strut (in the engine bay)

Thank you. Had the similar error code thrown yesterday 3 or 4 times on a 10km ride. Unplugged it aswell and drove around, no error yet. Hope it stays that way 😊
