my removal of secondary air injection m113/m113k
9/10 times when removing the air injection diverter value the bottom lip snaps off, it is recommended/easier to do this when the supercharger is off the car. So once I took my diverter values off and snapped them inside the engine I cut a rag and stuffed it down the hole (you do not want to get metal shavings inside) then get a small flat head and hammer and just be gentle and break the metal that is stuck inside the engine into pieces till it falls apart, then when pulling rag out be very carful and use a vacuum if needed. I bought my block off plates from VRPSPEED. After then remove the secondary air pump which is on the driver side behind the bumper for the m113k or on the top of the engine for the m113. And follow the vacuum lines that go from the air switch pull them out of engine and put vacuum plugs. You can remove the air switch that is bolted to the valve cover. And that is how I removed my secondary air injection. Main reason for removal was because I have fitted long tube headers with no catalytic converters. So secondary air injection is useless to me.
Code for SAI is p410 and there is a AMG part number for a plug for a hole on the supercharger. From removing the diverter values which I will upload after.
