Car having a hard time starting in a specific place
Hello everyone I have an 2004 E55 with about 101k miles . The car is having this really weird problem where it has a hard time starting when inside a parking garage, Even in the mornings when the car is entirely cold it never has this issue. Cars parked from 7AM in the morning till 2PM in the afternoon inside a multiple story parking garage, i park on the third floor if that's of any importance. AT first the car cranks for a solid 4-6 seconds and then it barely starts, I can hear a few gurgles from the engine barely starting up and then it dies. when i take out the key and put it back in to try again the car fires right up. I drive it everywhere at all times and it NEVER does this at any other place other than that parking garage. any help would be appreciated thanks!

I finally figured it out i think. i just have to leave the key in the igniton for a little longer than i normally would and it starts no problem i guess im at an incline that i cant notice but yes i live in florida so its quite moist anywhere

The starter is beginning to fail. I had weird situations like this myself for close to two years. Randomly, once every 2-3 months the car would do similar to what you described. Second time, would start up perfectly. It's the sign of a failing starter.
