Ben,
I took a week to get the car out on the road for the video. Race track ok I will ask my buddy to bring it to california speedway this Saturday.
The car that is taking off in the back ground at start of vid is a F355 with his new carbon fiber intake.

I was going to edit the video but I thought it added to the experience. I was riding shot gun with the video camera and my brother was driving my E55. He smooked the brake on the first run. He is not used to the brake by wire and nailed the brakes and they did not grab like his supra so he left the same pedel presure all the way from 130-10mph. rotors are blue. but the SLR did not feel anything brake were cool and not even smoking. SLR is the shizel!!!!

I was the girl laughing and that much hp and torque I could not control myself. Jamm55 I invited all so cal guys to come watch??
I have about 10 minutes of footage and will edit it again to make a kill video. I will video the E55 exterior, interior and long smoky burn out. Then edit them together with 2 other races not shown in this video.
SLR is insane. If you listen to the last run the SLR spins tire in first then traction control hits then we real my E55 in. 3rd gear was sick how hard we passed the E55. Some may ask why we did not do a heads up race?
I have shot many car race videos from the passenger seat and with cars that can not even keep up from the start the videos are lame and you can not see the full effect of the extra HP the SLR has. Example Supra TT Bpu+++ Vs an M3. I would just say go then follow the E55 back until the air brake comes up and blocks the view. This way we get to see the E55, which is no slouch, be the rabbit and work hard to stay out front and you can see the raw HP take the E55 over. We left drive skills out of this race. We had one shot and maybe 2-3 miles to shoot it, so I said lets put the rabbit out there. At the last light the SLR spinns so hard in first and the E55 hooked up straight up no tire spin at all.
One of funnest runs ever. I hope I get to run in an Enzo or Carrera GT some day??? If so video will be in hand.

I call SLR owner today to tell him how crazy that video is and he is. We were at 140+ and if you pause the film at one point you can see the dash at 125mph at 5500 rpm.
I ask him to take the SLR to the speedway this Saturday and he said ok!! wow but no promisses because untill I have the video I don;t beleive it will happen. But he did say we can hot lap again to shoot another video. This time I will take one of his Gallardo or if he gets in a Diablo I will take that out against the SLR. He does not think he will get an Enzo or Carrera any time soon so what else can hang with the SLR???????????????????
