Ego boost
Nothing like the feeling one gets when, while filling up the fuel tank at a service station, a late model very modified pickup makes a U-turn, pulls up next to me, and the driver asks if I would consider selling him my car ...

I had a guy the other day asking me about the car, and then said "what is it, only 3-5 years old?". Try 19! I'm not even as careful as I should be about keeping it clean, but these cars will be desirable for a LONG time
