Hi guys, since no much traffic in CLK55 section so better get second opinion here.
I have a chance to get a W208 2001 CLK55 for good price at $4000 but few thing this car need to take care.
AC doesn't work, need front brake, sun-roof can't close all the way. (about 2cm away only)
The few things done: Valve gasket, tranny/engine mount, rear brake, spark plugs, battery and starter were changed in the last 6 months. The person who try to sell it bought a E55K for more power.
He bought the car about 8 months ago for $8K + tax... total cost roughly $12K to $13k with maintenance. The exterior is about 7/10 and interior 8/10.
What you guys think ? I already have many cars but this is a good deal for daily drive but need to fix the AC otherwise LA summer will start to get hot.
Any thought or advise would be great.
