I recently put my 2004 E55 on the dyno at a dyno day event locally and have a couple of questions. Where is the best spot to grab an RPM signal? They couldn't find one and my numbers were based off the dyno somehow calculating a gear ratio. Second, is it normal for the car to downshift even in manual mode? It was in manual mode in 4th for the pulls but kept downshifting when pushed hard. The car has a trans tune but can't remember from where, like that when I got it.

Made 533 whp but couldn't get a good torque number because of no RPM signal. That was with a kink in a line from the water tank for the chiller causing little to know flow, and water temps were 30-40 degrees higher than they should have been, so still some hp to be had.
