New to this platform. I recently purchased a 2009 E63 and started to inspect the engine bay when I noticed the valve cover cracked around 1 of the bolt area. upon researching I came across some vendors selling black plastic ones? do they work just as good?

If by any chance anyone has a passenger side to sell, please let me know.

You might get lucky on eBay but it will take some patience and persistence to locate any metal valve cover(s).

The black plastic valve covers are what superseded the metal ones from the factory. If you go that route, just make sure they are OE Mercedes.
