How do you program the Garage door button?
My car didn't come with a manual so that don't help... And I went to the dealership and guys in service weren't sure how to get mine to work.
I live in a condo building and the way we open the main gate is with garage door opener that everyone gets... Is not a normal garge door opener, this thing is small and it goes on my keychain. The name that I see on they keychain and on the units that operate the main gate is "SKG".
I tried holding one of the buttons on the mirror while pressing the controll remote but it didnt work.
Does anyone know what do I need to do in order to make this work?

I think you have to program BOTH your controller (button in your car) AND the opener (which in your case, you might not have control over) simultaneously.
At least this is how I did my home garage opener. There is a learn button on the opener that when pushed, listens for signals coming from the controller (buttons in the car).

There are three buttons on the mirror. My first button didn't work so I programmed the second. Switch on ignition. Press and hold the two outer signal buttons and release them when the indicator lamp begins to flash. Do not hold for longer than 30 seconds. This erases any previous settings and initalizes the memory.
Hold the end of the transmitter, 2-5 inches away, while keeping the indicator lamp in view. Using both hands, press and holdthe transmitter AND THE DESIRED BUTTON TO BE PROGRAMMED. The indicator lamp will begin to flash from slow to fast, release both buttons. Press the button you just programmed and observe the lamp. If the lamp remains lit, programming is complete.
Some remotes only transmit or quit after two seconds. Therefore, you should press and hold for two seconds, release then press and hold for two seconds and release. Repeat this step until the frequency has been learned. Upon successful training, the indicaotr lamp will flash slowly then rapidly after several seconds.
The unit is only able to program frequencies between 280-390 MHz. Check the remote for the frequency.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Call roadside, they have a machine with instictions, mine wouldn't work at all with the manuals instructions. Found out I have a rolling code and the automated thing had me ip and running in less than 2 minutes

Okay, I did this years ago and it worked...now I am at my new house and cannot get the 2004 SL55 to work with my current Chamberlain garage door openers.
For some reason, I cannot get the button I want to make the LED flash fast...it stays slow (about once a second)???
