Smile W211 E63 Homemade Carbon Front "One of a kind

I know.., I know she is getting old. But she was my first (AMG) and only love . It have now 180K Miles on the clock and still run and look like when it was new. I would say even better now with all the design/mods added over time.
Finally, had time to redesign and make my previous homemade Carbon front look a little more modern and to better match rest of the car (closer to what I original intended). Wanted to add elements from much newer models into the design. I personally think I somewhat got away with good success. Anyway, I'm very happy with the finish, the design and look
Like previous builds. Its build up on a fiberglass base finished off with a Carbon Fiber layer (2x2 Twill 3k 197gsm). Then finally top-coated with a multi layered 2k Urethane clear coat for additional - & UV protection.

Next project will be to update the rear diffuser I previous build. Have a new and more modern design in mind, and of cause with Carbon fiber elements matching the rest of the car.

What do you think?

Finally, had time for redesigning and making my carbon front matching the carbon side skirt

Element from much newer models

I like the discrete aluminum edge added to the carbon to match rest of the car and side skirt

Like my newer design much better than the previous

One of kind! Very Happy with the outcome

This is well engineered piece, nicely integrated, and not to over the top. It adds a more modern fair to the front end. Can't wait to see how your rear diffuser turns out. Some will ask if you plan to make and sale these in the future, and if so, what is the cost?

Usually don't like the look of star grilles on W211s but on your particular car with all the other mods I think it looks great. Really gives it a more modern appearance while still retaining that classic style, nice job.
