I havent gone as I just got my car a couple of weeks ago...in a couple of weeks I would like to go there or that place off of 46? Since we have cooler we should get some decent times, even with this crappy tires.

Let me know. I'll meet you guys there. I wanted to wait until the car had a few more miles on it before racing, but I figure 1,600 miles is enough.

The place out off of Rt. 46 is pretty far west. Island Dragway in Great Meadows. I haven't been there in years.

E-town is crowded, but the trip is shorter for us Bergen County guys. You'll get more runs at Island, but my recollection is that the track is prep'ed worse than Englishtown, which itself is not that great.

Island Dragway - Great Meadows NJ Oct 17
Ran my 03 E55 at Island Dragway test and tune today. Track was very crowded and I only got 4 runs in. Cold weather- 50F was bad for 60 foot times but good for top end. Beat my neighbour's RS-6 on every run.

Ran 12.568, 12.482, 12.529, and on last run of day 12.262.

Details on 12.262 were:
R/T.169
60' 1.916
330' 5.266
1/8 7.98
1000 - no reading as wiped out by one of the sub 12 second cars
1/4 12.62
MPH 116.08

Island Dragway is closer than E-Town for Northern NJ residents and has more frequent test and tunes - every Sunday.

I am headed down to E-town tomorrow (Saturday - 10/23). There's a Corvette Challenge, so a bunch of the guys that I know from Z06Vette.com will be there. Should be fun.
