Negative. Use STAR/DAS/Xentry diagnostic or equivalent. Run a "Quick Test" to check all systems. Or go directly to the section controlling the secondary air injection and activate manually.

It should be under the motor electronics module selection which, in turn, is under the control modules selection. The control modules section contains the motor electronics, body, chassis, etc. You would want to look at a manual activation or actuation in order to test the air pump using the function keys on your computer
If your car is not an amg, the relay for the secondary air injection is located in the rear Sam. If your car is an AMG the relay for the secondary air injection is located over the cabin air filter for a 2003 or 2004 or located in the trunk on the right hand side hidden behind the panel for a 2005 or a 2006. And either case you can just pull the relay and jumper the two leads for the air injection which will tell you if the pump is working. If it works when you jump the relay but not when the relay is installed then the problem is either in the relay or in the sam.

This is the schematic for the fuel pump relay but the secondary air injection relay is the same pinout. Jumper pins 30 and 87 and you should hear the air pump sound like a jet engine.
hello bbirdwell, so I just tested by going through files 30 and 87 the pump works correctly and for the relay I forgot to tell you that I changed it recently so ok for him, for the suitcase I will wait for the rain stops and above all do this during the day I will come back to you as soon as the test with das xentry is done thank you.
hello bbirdwell so I managed to test the air pump via das xentry and it works well, I confirm that you have to go to the engine module then go to actuation and we find the test mode for the air pump .So for my problem does not come from this pump!
