Would you buy a car with a wrap on it?

Just wondering peoples thoughts on buying an used car from a dealer wit a wrap kit in it. Car looks good from pics but I do not know how long it's been on and if it was done really well. Ultimately I don't know the paint condition under the wrap or if removing the wrap could cause damage. I hear that is rare (if is was done right) but you just never know. Would or has anyone bought a car wit a wrap kit on it?

thanks!

I was looking at a E63 S wagon that was fully wrapped. I just couldn't trust the paint underneath. You never know what they're hiding. Plus to remove the wrap costs a lot of money and then you have to complete a paint correction on the whole car.

These cars develop rust from just existing! I own the 4th of my family’s 5 Mercs. There is only 1 without rust, it’s a 2017… I wouldn’t trust anything I can’t see…

Thanks everyone, it is good to hear confirmation of what I was thinking. It's not worth the risk as you do never really know. @C_Note I have 2002 CLK55 and the rust tendencies are really bad so I feel your pain!

I would not , unless you could buy it for a price that assumed the paint was ruined. Most 20 year old cars that are wrapped are not or business advertising and high % it is to cover something up.

This, Id want a significant reduction in price.
