Fuel system upgrades VS pumps?
while developing a plan for my C320 wagon conversion to a 113K powertrain I am pondering a variable speed fuel pump to get the juice flowing. The engine will be configured with a return fuel rail and regulator and most likely have 630 injectors. The exhaust is long tube headers with high flow cats far back in the system. Charge cooling is via a hme brewed freon cooled heat exchaner and 4 gallon tank. The blower drive ratio is TBD but not crazy and will include bypass, throttle body is TBD but either 84 or 92?
The idea of a variable speed hence variable flow fuel pump seems attractive for several reasons. Starting with fuel return and noise along with pump life and perhaps even throttle response. Has anyone here used one or more of the current options for this feature? Load based fuel delivery starting at the pump is not a new technology but the advances in electronic control in real time for these applications is still novel.
Thoughts?

two speed like the new fords wouldn’t be a bad idea then you don’t really need an FRP sensor or just kicking #2 on under load
