USING ANY SBC PUMP ON ANY CAR
Hey guys,
SBC is really annoying with having to match the exact part number and what not. I've been trying to figure out from threads and online, are there cross matching compatibility between some numbers?
Also, does the ESP+PML module determine if the pump will work as in if you transplant both the pump and module from a completely different car with a different SBC pump, would it work? How does the pump or the car know it's not compatible, the pumps themselves are the same it must be an electronic issue and I'm thinking the module is the one that controls the SBC pump so therefore can that just be transplanted as well and make it work?
