WTB. 2.65 Gears
Yup, the one no one wants. My 3200# crossfire is a bit lighter than most and would benefit from taller gears. Have a set? Let me know.

I have a couple with 3.06. I had one that I thought was 2.65, but when I tore it down, it was a 3.06.
3.06 works, but 1st gear is almost useless, and it could stand to drop the revs a bit on the highway.

I'd go for a 2.82 Diff over a 2.65 one, because it will still feel more responsive, but it a bit longer than your 3.06. I've driven a W203 with M113k and 2.82 and it felt really well balanced.

I built a spreadsheet comparing all the different ratios. 2.65 gives me the highway cruising I am after. This car is so light, especially in the rear that 1st gear with 3.06 just winds the engine up tighter than I need. I'm not street/track racing this car.
