Oil pan capacity
Hi everyone,
I tried searching for this answer before posting, my apologies if it has been discussed before. Does anyone know how much oil each of the two sides of the oil pan hold?
I am trying to determine what/if my dealership did wrong during my last oil change. I believe they may have overfilled it (computer reads 8.4l cold, I have been getting excess oil in my intake and the rear main seal has started leaking, but that could all be unrelated) but they only charged me for 6 liters so at first that made no sense, if anything it should be low. But then i noticed they only replaced one washer so they must not have drained both sides, and I am trying to deduce which side based on capacity.
Any help is much appreciated

Largest capacity is rear of pan. Front sump is significantly smaller. Rear belly pan removal provides access to rear drain plug, middle belly pan removal gives access to front drain plug. Front belly pan provides access to fog lights and assorted bits behind front bumper. Nine quarts whenever I change motor oil.
