Color code sticker missing, how to find color code?

Color code sticker missing, how to find color code?
I'm told the sticker with all the rows of numbers on it including the color code for the paint is either in the drivers door jamb, the radiator crossmember, o the underside of the hood, or on the tin under the hood by the headlights. Neither location in my car has the sticker. Carfax shows a minor accident in the front long ago before I bought the car used, so maybe they replaced the part with the sticker on it and now I have no color code info? Is there somewhere else I should be looking for the sticker? If not, then how do I get the color code to buy touch up paint? The car is black, but they list a whole bunch of blacks for my 2006 E55. Anyone have any idea where the sticker is SUPPOSED to be, and if I can't find it how to get the color code?

Disregard, I found it. The paint supplier I was looking at had the wrong information on their website. They had me looking for a completely different type of sticker. My code is C040 - Black.
